Game theoretic optimisation in process and energy systems engineering: A review

Game theory is a framework that has been used by various research fields in order to represent dynamic correlation among stakeholders. Traditionally, within the process and energy systems engineering community focused on development of centralised decision making schemes. In recent years, decentralised decision-making schemes have attracted increasing attention due their ability capture multi-stakeholder dynamics more accurate manner. this article, we survey how facilitated game theoretic approaches. We focus deployment such methods problems review applications related supply chain optimisation problems, design operations, optimisation. Finally, analyse different structures based degree cooperation fairness criteria can be employed find fair payoff allocations.
